Jeremy is a .NET developer working for the Farnborough Sixth Form College. He has been working with ASP.NET since 2005 and ASP.NET MVC since its first public preview. Developing for Windows7
Matt Lacey
Windows7 prevents a new challenge and a new opportunity for application development. In this session, Matt will show how to incorporate some of the new features of the operating system into your applications. And all without affecting backwards compatibility for those users still on Vista - or even XP!
Matt has been a software developer for over 10 years and worked on systems for large and small numbers of users at large and small size companies. Having worked with various operating systems and platforms he now specialises in using .NET and has a special place in his heart for mobile solutions. He posts all sorts of random thoughts on his blog (http://blog.mrlacey.co.uk/) and can often be found on twitter (@mrlacey).
A very informal evening held at a local pub with presentations given by .net developers on any topic they wish to talk about followed by a pint & tasty meal.
Presentations are given by a mixture of DevEvening members and professional speakers.
